Chapter One :Chapter 1

"Master, I'm about to get out of prison."

In Hua Du prison, under the dim light within cell number 0, a young man of slight build and average height, dressed in a blue prison uniform, knelt in front of an elderly man.

"Don't you still have half a year before your sentence is up?"

The elderly man, his hair white as frost and his appearance disheveled, sat cross-legged on an iron bed, appearing calm and composed.

"I cured a VIP's illness, and my sentence was reduced by half a year," the young man said in a steady tone.

The elderly man nodded forcefully. His sunken eyes flashed open, shooting out two sharp beams directed towards the young man kneeling before him, his own proud disciple, Wan Yun Ting, "That's good, you can go out first and find a feng shui treasure land for your master. A month later, come back to collect my body!"

Wan Yun Ting looked up, his eyes filled with sorrow. He knew that his master's end was nearing!

Speaking of this elderly man, he was definitely a special existence in this prison.

In the 1960s, there appeared an incomparable medical practitioner in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, who was reputed to be able to compete with the King of Hell for lives with his thirteen ghostly acupuncture needles. With these skills, he dominated the traditional Chinese medicine field at that time. Nobody could match him, and he was hailed as the Medical Saint with Ghost Hands!

Unfortunately, fate played a cruel trick. Overnight, just like a comet, he mysteriously disappeared from public view and ended up being a prisoner in this prison.

He had thought that he would step into the dust with regret after taking all his life's learning, but he did not expect that Wan Yun Ting was framed and imprisoned seven years ago! The Medical Saint with Ghost Hands saw hope in this young man...

"Take this with you!"

In the hand of the Medical Saint with Ghost Hands, as withered as wood, a jade plaque appeared. It was dark green with exquisite carvings. "Although you have inherited my medical skills, I can't instruct you in the higher martial arts techniques.

When you get out, look for a man named Chang Wu De. He should be a respected martial artist. If he sees this jade plaque, he will know that you are my personal disciple, and he will instruct you in martial arts.

Also, don't forget the task I have entrusted you with. Remember!"

Holding the jade token in hand, Wanyun Ting immediately gave three heavy kowtows to his master, his gaze firm, and said, "Don't worry, Master, I will definitely fulfill your wish!"

"Go."

Ghost Hand Physician waved his hand and closed his old eyes, waiting for his end to come...

Wanyun Ting got up, his deep eyes clear, looked at his master one last time, and decisively turned and walked out of the cell.

A prison guard led him out. As they passed the prison canteen, a group of prisoners stood orderly at the entrance, most of them bigwigs in various fields of society.

"Congrats, Boss Wan, on your release ..."

These men looked at Wanyun Ting with eyes full of awe, shouting in unison.

Facing these prison mates, recalling his seven years’ life here, Wanyun Ting smirked, "You guys need to be good, reform yourselves, and strive to get out of prison as soon as possible."

"Yes, farewell Boss Wan ..."

These prison mates struck their metal lunch boxes, cheering as Wanyun Ting left.

Soon, Wanyun Ting, wearing a set of new clothes, carrying a luggage bag, under the personal accompaniment of Warden Ma Zhendong, walked out of the prison gates.

"Seven years, I am finally out!"

Looking back at the authoritative prison gates, Wanyun Ting couldn't help feeling deeply moved.

"Younger Brother..."

At that moment, a man dressed in a designer suit ran over, looking at Wanyun Ting emotionally, "You've finally come out."

"Second Brother..."

The visitor is indeed Wan Yunting's second brother, Wan Dongming. The two share an emotional hug. "Second brother, thank you for picking me up. Um, what about eldest sister? Didn't she come?"

"Eldest Sister..."

Mentioning their eldest sister, Wan Dongming hesitated for a moment before releasing Wan Yunting and smiling, "Eldest sister had some urgent business and couldn't make it here. She asked me to apologize to you."

"It's okay."

Wan Yunting casually dismissed the matter with a wave of his hand and a smile. "I'll go visit her later."

"Alright then, let's go. I'll take you home."

Wan Dongming took Wan Yunting's suitcase from him, patting his shoulder happily as they started walking towards the Mercedes parked at the curb.

"Second brother, take me to see our parents first," said Wan Yunting from the passenger seat, speaking calmly.

“Alright.”

Wan Dongming nodded, steering the car towards the suburbs.

Forty minutes later, they arrived at a cemetery in the outskirts of the city.

With a bouquet of flowers in his arms, Wan Yunting followed his brother to their parents' tombstones.

Looking at the names of his parents, Wan Tie Lin and Peng Jia Li, etched on the tombstone, he was overcome with emotion and fell to his knees. Unable to suppress his grieving feelings any longer, he said, "Father, Mother, your unfilial son has just now come to see you..."

Seeing his younger brother weeping uncontrollably at their parents' tombstone, tears welled up in Wan Dongming's eyes. He knew how hard the past seven years must've been for him in jail.

Seven years ago, Wan Yunting was framed, convicted of assault and sentenced to seven years in prison. As if the blow weren't severe enough, he also received news of his parents’ death in a car accident. The news, like a bolt from the blue, hit Wan Yunting hard.

From that point on, he was broken, living a lifeless existence in prison, wallowing in despair.

It wasn't until he met his master, the expert physician Ghost Hand, that he saw a glimmer of hope...

"Dad, Mom, I swear I'll find the killer and avenge you!"

Staring resolutely at his parents' tombstone, Wan Yunting, whose head was bleeding from striking something, had tears in his sharp eyes.

He believed that his parents' accident from years ago was no accident at all, but rather, premeditated!

In the afternoon, the two brothers left the cemetery.

"Little brother, come by my house later, consider it your own, don't feel burdened," Wan Dongming, who was driving, turned and smiled at Wan Yunting. "And as for your sister-in-law, she's thrilled to have you staying with us."

"Alright, thank you for the trouble," responded Wan Yunting with a smile and a nod.

He was aware that his elder sister and second brother had already established new families of their own.

Soon, Wan Dongming drove into a villa complex and parked slowly in front of an impressive-looking villa.

"We're here, little brother, let's get down from the car."

"Okay."

Wan Yunting grabbed his tattered old suitcase and got out of the car with his second brother.

Wan Dongming stepped in through the villa's front gate, continuing to brief Wan Yunting about the layout of the villa yard...

At this moment, a woman in a printed long dress and a small coat came out. Her body was thin and seemed to be suffering from illness. She was Wang Chulin, the wife of Wan Dongming.

"Are you my second sister-in-law?"

This was the first time he met the wife of his second brother. Wan Yunting appeared a bit uneasy.

Perhaps it was because he had served seven years in prison, thus being thrust into social interaction all of a sudden made him feel a bit tense and out-of-place.

"Younger brother, welcome home..."

Wang Chulin greeted him with a tender smile, taking the initiative to extend her delicately white hand for a handshake with Wan Yunting.

Such a cold hand!

Wan Yunting startled; holding Wang Chulin's hand was like holding a piece of ice.

Apparently, the second sister-in-law had a health issue!

"So, this is Wan Yunting who once sensationalized the whole Huadu as a rapist!"

All of a sudden, a mocking voice sounded, and a middle-aged woman emerged, dressed in a black cheongsam, looking rich and graceful. Upon seeing that Wan Yunting was still holding the hand of her daughter, Zheng Peihui strode over and pulled them apart, "Chulin, don't shake hands with such a felon. Beware of bad luck!"

Wan Yunting raised an eyebrow, clueless about who this woman was.

Wan Dongming stepped forward, standing between this woman and his younger brother. "Mom, my younger brother is not a rapist; he was framed."

"Useless thing, you have become bold now, shouting at me!"

Zheng Peihui had a fierce look and a typical shrew image. She started cursing, "Don't forget you're just a son-in-law, summoned into our Wang family!"

"Son-in-law?"

Wan Yunting was stunned, his eyes incredulously darting to his second brother Wan Dongming.
